To promote English education across the Sylhet division and encourage students to develop a strong interest in learning English, Dream Language Institute (DLI) has taken the initiative to organize free seminars and workshops in various schools and colleges. As part of this initiative, on October 4, 2019, the DLI team conducted a seminar at “Borkhal ML High School & College,” Dowarabazar, Sunamganj.
This two-hour seminar and workshop focused on the necessity of learning English, the opportunities it brings, its global impact, and ways to overcome the fear of English. The seminar featured insightful speeches by DLI’s Founder and Internationally Certified IELTS Expert, Ahmed Rasel. Other distinguished speakers included the Principal of Jhigli High School & College and General Secretary of the Ex-Students Association, Mr. Sirajul Islam; the Head Teacher of Noagaon Primary School, Mr. Rofiqul Islam; and DLI’s Director, Sohel Arman. The closing speech was delivered by Mr. Ahmad Ali, a teacher at Bagula Rosmat Ali School & College and President of the Ex-Students Association. Teachers of the host school, Mr. Ibrahim Khalil and Mr. Abul Kalam Azad, were also present at the event. Special contributions to the organization of the seminar were made by Mr. Abul Kalam Azad.
At the end of the seminar, a quiz competition was held, where participating students showcased their enthusiasm and knowledge. The winners were announced, and DLI, in collaboration with the school’s faculty members, presented them with crests as a token of appreciation.
This initiative by Dream Language Institute (DLI) is entirely non-profit, aiming to inspire school and college students to develop a keen interest in learning English. By equipping themselves with English proficiency, students can confidently compete at national and international levels, ensuring a bright future ahead.
